6:10 AM: A wintry mix is wrapping up across the region, but additional ice is possible in higher elevations throughout the day. Roads are slick and hazardous—use extreme caution if traveling. Heavy rain returns tonight, bringing an elevated flash flood and mudslide risk overnight. Another round of heavy rain is expected this weekend (Saturday & Sunday), continuing the flood and mudslide threat. Temperatures will fluctuate, with some days bitterly cold and others slightly warmer. Strong winds will add to the uncomfortable conditions throughout the week. Stay warm and avoid unnecessary travel if possible!
