Ice cream vendor joins other in Beckley

RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Another fair food vendor opened a booth in front of the Plaza Mall today.

Normally, Greg Miller spends Independence Day weekend operating Miller Food Concessions at Alderson’s annual celebration, but event cancellations led him to bring his services to Beckley.

The Lewisburg-based vendor offers soft serve ice cream with homemade waffle cones. They also make sweet tea and milkshakes.

“In 28 years, I’ve never sold a store-bought waffle cone,” said Miller. “We make all of our own waffle cones on site. When you come by, you can smell them and see them being made… There’s no additives to this. It’s a true product.”

Miller and owner of C&L Concessions Craig Clemons thank the Harvey brothers for allowing them to set up in the parking lot.
