Vendors bring fair food favorites to Beckley

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – One of the most disappointing things about canceled fairs is missing out on the food, but local vendors have a solution.

Two vendors with three booths set up in Beckley in the parking lot of the Beckley Plaza shopping center.

The two sell several favorites, including funnel cake, fried Oreos and freshly popped kettle corn. While serving the community, the vendors make sure to keep everyone safe.

“We are CDC compliant and health department compliant,” said Craig Clemens with C&L Concessions. “They’ve been out, talked to us, told us what their expectations are and inspected us. We are following their guidelines. We just make the best of what we have to work with [and] we’re going to be here all summer. As long as we have the continued support from the local community, we’ll be here all summer.”

The vendors plan to set up every Wednesday through Saturday between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. until Labor Day.
