Wyoming County, WV (WOAY) – Father’s Helping Hands and Sunshine of Home Ministries will be conducting an outreach to help fill some of the needs of those who struggle with homelessness in Oceana.
Cherry Mitchem lives in Tennessee, but she and her husband are Wyoming County natives. Cherry said she struggled with thoughts of suicide and drug addiction in her life, and wants to use her second chance to give back to people. Mitchem says there will be free food, clothing, household items, prayer and encouragement for those in need.
The community outreach will be at the old Magic Mart building parking lot at Ocean Square.
