FENWICK, WV (WOAY) – Voters in Greenbrier, Nicholas, and Webster County have decided not to give Gregory Watt a full term in the House of Delegates, giving attorney Mackenzie Holdren the victory in the Republican primary for District 48.
According to the Associated Press, Holdren will advance to the general election to take on Democrat Jourdan Deitz.
Holdren is an attorney practicing in Webster County.
Watt was appointed to the House of Delegates by Governor Patrick Morrisey in October 2025 to fill the vacancy left by the retiring Tom Clark.
