Hilltop, WV (WOAY) Hilltop Baptist Church is continuing an ongoing tradition of celebrating culture, history, and community with its upcoming 8th Annual Black History Celebration on Saturday, February 28.
This year’s event welcomes distinguished guests from the Levi First Baptist Church in Rand, as the church’s pastor, Reverend James Jackson, the congregation, and choir will attend.
Visitors can also expect a soul food meal at 12:30 p.m. and gift bags for the first 50 guests.
Organizers ask guests to wear all black attire.
The festivities will kick off at 2:00 pm at the Hilltop Baptist Center at 258 Baptist Road.
