Greenbrier Master Naturalists hosting free fall outdoor programs to educate nature lovers

Lewisburg, WV (WOAY)- Fall is here, and it’s the perfect time to get outside with the Greenbrier Master Naturalists.

The naturalists will host four workshops dedicated to teaching participants about the great outdoors.

All programs are free and held at Wood Thrush Park near Lewisburg unless noted otherwise.

No experience needed, just curiosity and a love for nature.

September 20: Spiders & Fall Insects — 9:00 a.m. to Noon
September 21: Tree ID & Forest Geography — 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
September 24: Wild Seeds Walk — 4:00 p.m. at the Greenbrier River Trail in Caldwell
October 12: All About Bats! — 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Programs are led by local experts and hosted by Appalachian Headwaters as part of a statewide DNR initiative.
