West Virginia (WOAY)- Governor Jim Justice has declared a State of Preparedness for all 55 counties amid news of incoming winter weather.
The state of preparedness allows appropriate personnel and resources to mobilize and respond to any emergency that may develop.
This also gives the director of the West Virginia Emergency Management Division (WVEMD) the powers needed to send out emergency personnel as necessary properly.
Justice and the WVEMD advise residents to be aware of weather conditions to keep you and your loved ones safe.
