West Virginia (WOAY) If you’re filling up your tank this week, expect to pay a little more.
According to GasBuddy, average gas prices in West Virginia have risen nearly four cents in the last week, now averaging $3.91 per gallon.
That’s nearly 13 cents higher than a month ago and more than 83 cents higher than this time last year.
The cheapest gas in the state was listed at $3.47 per gallon, while the highest price was $4.21.
Nationally, gas prices also increased, climbing seven cents to an average of $4.04 per gallon.
Gasbuddy analysts say rising oil prices and renewed geopolitical tensions could push prices even higher in the coming days.
