Fayetteville, WV (WOAY) A family-friendly fundraiser celebrating the New River Gorge is coming to Fayetteville next month.
Friend Fest, presented by Friends of New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, is set for Wednesday, September 9, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at The Outpost NRG.
The evening will feature live music from The John Inghram Band, Matt Mullins and The Bringdowns, Carpenter Ants and Andrew Adkins, along with a special appearance by Larry Groce.
There will also be a Kids Zone with activities from Active Southern West Virginia and New River Gem Mining Company.
All proceeds will benefit Friends of New River Gorge National Park and Preserve and its efforts to support park priorities, education, research, and visitor experiences.
Doors and bar service open at 5:30 p.m., with local food vendors on site.
The event will be held rain or shine.
Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children, plus taxes and fees.
