Bluefield, WV (WOAY)- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will relocate the Disaster Recovery Center in Mercer County to assist residents affected by Hurricane Helene.
The center is currently at MapleView Church of Christ at 194 Robins Rest Road in Bluefield.
On Thursday, January 2, the center will open at the Lifeline Princeton Church of God at 250 Oakvale Road at 10:00 am.
If you live in Mercer County and suffered storm damage from the remnants of Hurricane Helene from September 25-27 you are likely eligible for aid.
Individuals can also apply for aid online at disasterassistance.gov or by phone at 800-621-3362.
