Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond bringing District Dialogues Series to Charleston on August 11

Charleston, WV (WOAY) The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond is bringing its District Dialogues Series to Charleston next week, with a discussion focused on strengthening rural economies through better health care. 

The event begins Tuesday, August 11, at the University of Charleston and will explore how health challenges impact the workforce and local economies in rural communities.

Panelists will discuss workforce development, community partnerships and innovative strategies to improve health outcomes across West Virginia and beyond. 

Speakers include representatives from the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Vandalia Health, Southern West Virginia Health System and the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. 

The event is free and open to the public, with both in-person and virtual attendance options available.

Networking begins at 2:30 p.m., followed by the panel discussion and audience Q&A from 3:00 p.m to 4:30.
