FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office is hiring new deputies.
Applicants need to be between the ages of 18 and 45. They should have their high school diploma or G.E.D. and be able to pass a physical fitness test and a written exam.
The starting salary is $45,720 dollars. There are planned promotions and raises, as well as 15 days of paid vacation per year and a retirement system.
You can pick up an application at the Fayette County Clerk’s Office, as well as sheriff’s office locations in Fayetteville, Danese, and Valley. They need to be turned in to the clerk by January 15.
