Fayette County Schools release details on how grades will be calculated

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Fayette County Schools release details on how the end of year grades will be calculated.

The Fayette County Board of Education says that grades will be calculated on an average of the three nine weeks as the final grade for the year.

The cut-off date for the calculations is March 13, 2020.

Any work turned in after March 13, 2020, will only increase a student’s grade, not decrease it.

The final 4th nine-week grades can only be recorded as satisfactory or unsatisfactory.
