FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY)- Fayette County’s American Federation Teachers held an “emergency” meeting last night for all Fayette County teachers and school employees.
The meeting was held to address a vote that will be happening this week regarding a work stoppage at schools. The meeting addressed concerns about the vote and the process of the voting.
School employees will be casting a ballot this upcoming Thursday, February 8th on a vote of authority.
WOAY did attend the meeting but was asked to leave in order for the teachers and school board to discuss private matters.
