FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – Fayette County Parks and Recreation has announced that the county park pool will not reopen this summer.
The county says it is unable to find a contractor that believes that the pool can be repaired. Now, it needs to look at replacement options.
The high cost of replacing the pool also means it needs to secure grants to pay for the project.
In the meantime, Parks and Recreation will devote its time to improving the rest of the park.
