Fayette County declares a State of Emergency due to COVID-19

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – Fayette County has declared a local State of Emergency in preparation of COVID-19, (coronavirus).

This simply means the county is able to tap into emergency funding to help residents, if the need arises.

A State of Emergency does not mean essential stores; like grocery stores, pharmacies, or hospitals will close.
