Fayette County Assessor’s office says to call before coming to the office

FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (WOAY) – The Fayette County Assessor’s office is asking everyone to please call the office instead of coming in during the coronavirus outbreak.

Eddie Young, Fayette County Assessor, tells WOAY that they are still open for business, but if you feel like you need to come in, please call first.

Young says they can take care of a lot of things over the phone, and that may prevent you from coming out or at least cut down your time at the office.

The numbers you may need are:

For Real Estate call: 304-574-4240, 304-574-4239, or 304-574-4240.

For personal property (vehicles), call: 304-574-4242.
