Eclectic boutique and WiFi lounge opens up in Downtown Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – A new local clothing store and WiFi lounge opened up  in Downtown Fayetteville on Monday.

It is called Thread, and it is located at the corner of Maple Avenue and Court Street.

The shop has a unique selection of jewelry, graphic tees and vintage clothing, but they also want it to be a space for people to stop and hangout and use their free WiFi.

Candace Evans is one of the owners along with Halee Kalinoski, and Evans says they are both looking forward to being a part of the growing downtown scene.

“Being connected and being a community and coming together and kind of just being that place where someone can sit and have a chat and be comfortable or if you want to shop or if you need an outfit, just something that represents us and the town,” Evans said.

This weekend the store will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and then on Monday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

They will be launching a Facebook page this weekend where there will be more details about set hours for next week.
