PRINCETON, WV (WOAY) – A drive-in prayer planned by Country Roads Jeep Club to show support for Princeton Health Care Center.

A drive-in prayer is being planned and hosted by The Country Roads Jeep Club, and they are inviting the community to join them on Sunday, August 9, 2020, at 2 pm by vehicle. They plan on holding prayer to show support for patients and staff at Princeton Health Care Center, which has been affected by an outbreak of COVID-19.

You are encouraged to stay in your vehicle to enforce social distancing guidelines.

Since March, there have been seventy confirmed cases of Covid-19. Currently, there are 25 active resident cases and 16 active employee cases. Three people have died at the facility, and one doctor is on a ventilator in Morgantown.

The PHCC clinical team members, along with the assistance of Stacey Hicks and the Princeton Rescue squad, completed the latest round of mass testing yesterday. They anticipate the remainder of those results to be received over the next three days.
