Fayetteville, WV (WOAY) The Friends of New River Gorge National Park and Preserve has announced a new executive director.
Dr. Mandy Wriston has been selected to lead the organization, bringing years of experience in tourism, public relations, marketing, event coordination, and nonprofit leadership.
Wriston is familiar with the New River Gorge region, having previously consulted for the Friends Board and coordinated West Virginia’s Official Bridge Day for several years.
Organizational leaders say they are excited to welcome her as they continue to support the national park and preserve.
