BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – The Fall hunting season is officially underway.
Starting this month, West Virginia’s hunters in certain counties can hunt deers and bears. On September 26, residents will be allowed to use archery and crossbow as hunting tools. Hunters are reminded to check regulations for changes to season dates and bag limits as the 2020 fall seasons begin.
“We always encourage folks to pick up the hunting regulations and review the changes. Every year we have a few changes to the hunting regulations, especially counties with bag limits. We encourage folk to look at those. You got questions they can contact us,” Wildlife Biologist, Todd Dowdy said.
