Disney and Direct TV settle distribution dispute

West Virginia (CNN)- It took a couple of weeks, but Disney and Direct TV have ended their distribution dispute.

The two sides came to an agreement on Saturday, and once they did, Direct TV viewers could watch ABC, ESPN, and FX.

Over 11 million subscribers had lost access to the Disney stations during the dispute that began on September 1.

The companies said the distribution deal will include new customer options, including new packages that include Disney Plus, Hulu, and ESPN Plus streaming services.

Direct TV will also be able to distribute ESPN’s streaming service once it debuts at no extra cost to its customers.
