LINCOLN, WV (WOAY) – West Virginia State Police are telling Newswatch the details behind a death investigation.
On Monday, June 24 Tropper Clagg and Trooper Daniels found a dead female body in a wooden area by Taunton Drive in Harts.
The West Virginia State Police Crime Scene processed the crime scene and the victim was sent to the medical examiner’s office in Charleston for an autopsy and identification.
On June 26th the autopsy states that the victim died from a single gunshot wound. Her identity is still unknown so the investigation is still ongoing.
