Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – A large multistate outbreak of Cyclosporiasis is occurring and has the attention of health officials who have been concerned about the rate of increasing cases since the start of May.
As of July 13, more than 400 cases have been reported to the CDC from four states: Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky.
The Fayette County Health Department confirmed with WOAY that there is one confirmed case in that county.
