Charleston, WV (WOAY) One of country music’s most iconic groups is coming to West Virginia as part of the America250 Capital City Celebration.
Legendary country band ALABAMA will headline the event on Friday, July 3, in Charleston.
The group has sold more than 75 million records and earned 43 number-one hits, making them one of the most successful acts in country music history.
The celebration will continue throughout the holiday weekend with performances by the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra on Saturday night and the Marshall Tucker Band on Sunday night.
Organizers are encouraging music fans from across the Mountain State to mark their calendars and celebrate America’s 250th anniversary with a weekend of live entertainment.
