ATHENS, WV (WOAY) – Concord University has announced that they will be making changes to their degree options.
Some degree options will be adjusted, while others have moved online. Programs such as Geography, Recreation, and Tourism Management and Special Education will no longer be accepting new students. Students currently enrolled in specific applications may continue coursework to complete their programs and receive their intended degree.
“Like a lot of institutions around the country have experienced COVID-19 and it has played havoc in a lot of ways. Our spring semester went online very quickly within a week,” said Associate Provost Kathy Liptak.
Concord will be open in the fall in Athens, Beckley, and online, and registration is currently open.
