Beckley, WV (WOAY)Families are invited to celebrate the start of a new school year with a free community movie night in Beckley.
The Back to School Movie Bash will take place Saturday, August 1, at 6:00 p.m. at Linda K. Epling Stadium.
The event will feature a screening of “The Goonies,” along with free popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy, games, activities, and back-to-school fun for all ages.
Guests can also enjoy a dunking booth featuring Dunk a Deputy and Soak a Medic.
The event is hosted by One Voice, Jan-Care Ambulance Service, and the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Department.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and the whole family for a night under the stars.
The event is free and open to the public.
