Oak Hill, WV (WOAY)- The city of Oak Hill is accepting applications for hometown hero banners through March 31.
Oak Hill will celebrate local veterans and active service members by displaying their names and photos on banners throughout the city from Memorial Day through Veteran’s Day.
Banners cost $125 each, with brackets provided at no charge.
Applicants must submit a good-quality photo of their hero that has reasonable resolution.
The larger the photo, the better it will appear on your banner.
You can pick up an application at Oak Hill City Hall at 100 Kelly Avenue or online at oakhillwv.gov.
