City of Fayetteville begins Phase I of Town Park playground makeover featuring accessible equipment for all to enjoy

Fayetteville, WV (WOAY) The city of Fayetteville is creating room for accessible playground equipment to ensure every child has a place to play!

The move is a part of Phase I of the city’s playground makeover.

City officials report that the incoming playground pieces will replace the wooden structures from Play-it-ville, a community-driven effort that helped bring new play structures to Town Park.

The structures have provided the community with family fun for more than 20 years, but have now exceeded their life expectancy.

The city plans to unveil the new equipment this Spring.

The city of Fayetteville thanks the Park Board for prioritizing the health and well-being of our children and investing in the future of Town Park.
