Governor Morrisey has declared a State of Emergency for Boone, Logan, and Raleigh counties

Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – Governor Patrick Morrisey has declared a State of Emergency for Boone, Logan, and Raleigh counties following severe flooding and landslides this week.

Governor Morrisey ordered personnel and resources across the state government to prepare to respond to help the community.

The Division of Highways, the Emergency Management Division, and the National Guard have all been on scene.

The State of Emergency will remain for 30 days unless the Governor terminates it early.
