City of Bluefield holding road safety input meeting

The City of Bluefield is inviting the community to attend a public input meeting about efforts to keep the streets safe.

The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Oct. 18. It’s happening at the Greater Mt. Zion Pentecostal Church.

The meeting will cover the city’s “Safe Streets for All Action Plan,” looking at everything from pedestrian safety measures, traffic flow improvements, maintenance, and public transportation.

Everyone is invited, and the city hopes that people who travel in different ways give their input to make the plan effective for as many people as possible.
