Celebration turned to chaos as a fight broke out after the Woodrow Wilson High School graduation

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY)- What started as throwing caps turned into throwing fists. Earlier this evening, a fight broke out after the Woodrow Wilson High School graduation at the Beckley Raleigh County Convention Center.

At approximately 6:43 p.m., officers with the Beckley Police Department, working the event, were notified that approximately 10 or more people were fighting outside the arena.

The fight was quickly dispersed once officers arrived. They are currently interviewing witnesses and reviewing video of the incident.
