OAK HILL, WV (WOAY) – Starting next week, Cafe One Ten on Oak Hill’s main Street will begin making deliveries if customers request it.
The restaurant has typically never offered deliveries in the past, but due to coronavirus concerns, they say they want to offer the community more options for food service. This way, people won’t need to go out into public and risk infection to enjoy a meal from Café One Ten.
Don Williams, owner of Café One Ten, says the idea was a spur of the moment decision.
“Like everybody else we’re nervous about all the things that are happening with the coronavirus, and we were just brainstorming ways to maybe help the community a little bit, help out. One of those ideas were we could offer free deliveries to people not wanting to get out, or maybe a little older,” Williams said.
Williams says patrons can place orders by calling the restaurant directly. The deliveries will be free of charge. Café One Ten will begin making deliveries to the local area this Monday.
