FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WOAY) – Grandparents Day is this Sunday, and to help celebrate, Bridge Walk is offering grandparents and their families a discounted catwalk tour.
On Sunday, starting at 1 to 4 pm, Grandparents can walk underneath the New River Gorge bridge for free and family members are $49 per person. Catwalk tours can consist of up to 5 to 8 families members.
“Just like Mother’s day and Father’s day celebrating Grandparents Day we find it just as important because of the role they play in families. So we’re celebrating Grandparents Day at Bridge Walk on Sunday with a special rate,” said instructor Doug Colemen.
