BRCCC launching incentive program to help local businesses

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – The Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce has created an incentive program to help small businesses during this time.

It is called a Virtual Cash Mob and people will be able to get on Facebook Live with local retailers and win giveaways and also a $50 gift card provided by BB&T all while shopping at local businesses that have taken a hit after they were forced to close.

“The Chamber wanted to step in and try to do something to help these businesses generate some revenue so that they could offset the cost of their inventory and their fixed costs that they have not be able to change through the pandemic,” BRCCC President and CEO Michelle Rotellini said.

This will begin Wednesday with the Blue Magnolia boutique as they will be going live at 7 p.m. on their Facebook page.
