Bonnie’s Bus mobile mammography unit offering screenings in Mercer and Raleigh Counties this week

West Virginia (WOAY)—This week, Bonnie’s Bus mobile mammography unit will offer three-dimensional digital screening mammograms and breast care education in Mercer and Raleigh counties. 

The mobile unit will be parked at a Bluestone Health Center in Princeton on Wednesday, November 13, and at Beckley Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC) on Thursday, November 14. 

A doctor’s order is required for any patients seeking to receive services. 

Bonnie’s Bus accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and all private insurance. 

The West Virginia Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening program has funds available for uninsured patients. 

Bonnie’s Bus has provided over 30,000 mammograms for women throughout the Mountain State, which has led to the detection of over 170 breast cancer cases since 2009.
