Beckley woman pleads guilty to illegal gun purchase

BECKLEY, WV (WOAY) – A Beckley woman has pled guilty to illegally buying guns for another person.

Kaniesha Brack bought seven different handguns during a two-week period in June 2021. She admitted to lying on the forms for each purchase and not accurately describing who she was buying them for.

She made the purchases at businesses in Beckley and Mount Hope, as well as the R+R Gun Show.

She faces at least three years behind bars and a $250,000 fine.

She purchased the following handguns:

  • Glock model 27 GEN5 .40-caliber
  • Glock model 30 .45-caliber
  • Taurus model G3C 9mm
  • Taurus model G2C 9mm
  • Glock model 33GEN4 .357-caliber
  • Glock model 36 .45-caliber
  • Glock model 43X 9mm
