Beckley, WV (WOAY) The Beckley VA Medical Center is receiving another round of federal funding for facility upgrades.
The money will support electronic health record infrastructure improvements, security system upgrades, and repairs to water intrusion in stairwells.
The funding is part of a record $4.8 billion in the VA’s nationwide non-recurring maintenance program aimed at modernizing health care facilities and improving services for veterans
Executive Director George B. Drexel IV says, “This funding allows Beckley VA Medical Center to continue modernizing and improving, so our facility remains safe, efficient, and equipped to provide high-quality care for our Veterans in Beckley”
