Beckley Police Department accepting applications for Citizens’ Police Academy now through September 4

Beckley, WV (WOAY) The Beckley Police Department is now accepting applications for its next Citizens’ Police Academy.

The free program begins on September 10 and meets on Thursday evenings through November 12 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Participants will get an inside look at police operations and learn more about law enforcement in their community.

Registration is open through September 4, but space is limited to just 15 participants.

Applications are available at the Beckley Police Department or online through the city’s website.
