Beckley, WV (WOAY)- The city of Beckley officially has a city manager, who is sure to make for a seamless transition.
Interim city manager Phillip Jarrell, who’s been serving in the role since February, has accepted the position.
The Beckley Common Council formally appointed Jarrell to the position following a vote during their latest meeting.
He will now take on a one-year term as city manager.
The council will revisit his performance in six months to determine the next steps.
