Beckley Police were called to respond to a head-on motor vehicle collision on February 15th.
Around 3:45 pm a car and passenger truck crashed in the 3200 block of Robert C. Byrd Drive.
Both people in the car received life-threatening injuries and were transferred to a local hospital and then a Charleston hospital in critical condition.
The driver of the truck received non-life-threatening injuries and is in a local hospital.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident. They will receive the help of an accident reconstructionist from the West Virginia state police.
