Raleigh County, WV (WOAY) – Beckley Board of Public Works wants to help its citizens with some Spring cleaning.
The Annual Spring Cleanup gets underway at 7:00 a.m. on Monday, March 30, beginning with Ward 1.
City crews plan to hit all 5 Wards until the pickup is complete.
If you miss your Ward’s pickup, the city will not make a return trip once that neighborhood’s pickups are complete.
Crews will not pick up hazardous waste or petroleum products, yard waste, demolition materials, batteries, liquids, or white goods such as household appliances.
The Recycling Department of Public Works will pick up white goods on Friday for a $25 fee per item. Please call (304)-256-1813 to arrange a pickup.
