West Virginia (WOAY) It’s almost time to head back to the classroom across southern West Virginia.
Fayette and Nicholas County students will return to school this Thursday, August 13.
Braxton and Pocahontas County schools start August 19, followed by Mercer and Monroe counties on August 20.
McDowell and Summers County students head back August 24th, while Raleigh County begins the school year August 26.
Greenbrier and Wyoming County students will be the last to return, with their first day set for August 31.
Parents and students are encouraged to check with their local school system for specific start times, bus information, and other back-to-school details.
