Hinton, WV (WOAY)-Appalachian Regional Healthcare is hosting a Making Health Happen community health screening event in Hinton on Friday, November 8.
The event will be at the Summers County Memorial Building from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Summers County healthcare professionals will be on the scene conducting BMI testing, stroke screenings, and blood pressure and glucose checks.
Informational booths will provide resources about Medicaid and programs for children and babies.
The event is open to all area residents, and there is an opportunity for participants to win door prizes.
