Anti Rabies Clinics taking place across Fayette County this week

Fayette County, WV (WOAY)- A friendly reminder for pet parents in Fayette County. 

The 2025 rabies clinic is in town this week, and it’s your chance to get your furry friends vaccinated affordably.

Tuesday, June 24

Ansted: Old Fire Station Lot: 9:00 am to 10:00 am

Jodie: Fire Station: 10:30 am to 11:00 am

Dixie: Bell Creek Baptist Church: 11:15 am to 11:45 am.

Oak Hill: Orange Mountain Appliance Repair: 01:00 pm to 2:30 pm.

Page/Kincaid: Kincaid Post Office: 2:45 pm to 3:15 pm.

Wednesday, June 25

Rabies shots are $10 for cats and dogs, and other essential vaccines, such as distemper, are $12, parvo is $25, and bordetella is $12.  

There will also be vaccines available for feline leukemia for $12

Plus, you can pay the county dog tax, which is just $ 3.  

Reminder: WV State law requires dog owners to pay a tax for all dogs six months or older.
