Happy Saturday everyone! Today was another warm day in the region, and tomorrow will be more of the same. The main difference between today and tomorrow is that the winds will be a little lighter for us all tomorrow. Regardless, fire weather is still an issue, and you should be cautious doing any yardwork or fire activities outside. Pay attention to the burn bans in your area.
I do have some exciting news, however. Our rain chances next week are much greater than before, thus, our confidence is rising that we will get rain next week! A storm system will move off of the Atlantic and head towards our area, likely to bring many of us some actual rain. This isn’t going to do much to combat the drought, but it will likely bring folks a smile. Stay tuned with us here at WOAY for updates on the forecast!
