Annual Lewisburg Chocolate Festival has been canceled this year

LEWISBURG, WV (WOAY) – The Lewisburg Chocolate Festival has been canceled for this year due to COVID-19.

The festival will take place next year on Saturday, April 10, 2021.

The following statement about the cancellation can be read below.

“After thoughtful consideration, review of West Virginia’s reopening plan, and direction from our local health department, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the 14th Annual Lewisburg Chocolate Festival. While we are bummed beyond words, the health and safety of festival attendees, shop and restaurant owners and staff, and event volunteers are our #1 priority. Save the date for next year’s festival: April 10, 2021!

Ticket holders:
If you purchased tasting tickets online in advance, your purchase is valid for the 2021 festival on April 10. If you would like a refund, we will gladly take care of that for you. If you purchased tickets in person at the visitors center in Lewisburg, a cash refund will be made upon return of your tickets. Please send an email to lewisburgchocolate@gmail.com with your preference: hold tickets for 2021, online refund (for online ticket purchases), or cash refund (for visitors center purchasers).

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we made this unfortunate but necessary decision. Stay safe and sane out there! And eat some chocolate for us!
