WOAY-TV (Oak Hill, WV): For the third day in a row, we will stay dry through the day. Skies will be cloudy, but any rain will stay to our west or south through the day as smaller lines of showers fade in and out. Temperatures will also stay well above freezing, which means snow will melt off once again. We’ll reach into the upper 40s this afternoon, making for a wonderful day for any outdoor activities. The weather will stay pretty similar for most of the day Thursday as temperatures continue to rise past the 50-degree mark. Cloudy conditions will remain as well, but we won’t stay dry for much longer. Meteorologist Christian Boteler has the details:
Thursday night will begin another round of active weather as a cold front moves through the region. Precipitation will start as rain with widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms develop and last for some time before changing to a wintery mix overnight. By morning time, snow will be falling in the region again thanks to the cold front dropping our temperatures to below freezing once again. Accumulation will be little to none, but some roads may be slick with ice and slush as the morning commute begins. After the system moves through, conditions will clear up by noon on Friday. From then on, skies will remain cloudy, making for a gloomy and damp ending to the work week.

The weekend will be a mixed bag of weather featuring an amazing Saturday. Temperatures quickly rebound, breaking 50 degrees once again in the afternoon. Skies will be mostly sunny, furthering the wonderful feeling. Clouds will come in Sunday to mess with the perfect conditions, and there is an off-chance for a few showers to develop in the region. The next work week will start in a similar way as more showers pop up later in the day with a chance of rain switching to a wintery mix later in the night. High temperatures will be in the 40s from Sunday through Tuesday, making things at least bearable outside. Here’s your 7-Day Forecast:
