Beckley, WV (WOAY)- Are your kids climbing the walls? If so, there’s an opportunity for them to release that energy while sparing you the cleanup.
Active Southern West Virginia is hosting two indoor youth climbing program events this month.
The first will be on Wednesday, June 11, and the other is set for Wednesday, June 25.
On June 11, the group will meet at the last parking lot at the YMCA soccer complex at 4:00 pm.
On June 25, the group will hold two climbing sessions at 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm at the WVU Tech Boulder Barn.
Trained active SVV community captains will teach young climbers the basics of rock climbing in a safe environment.
Registration is required through Active Southern West Virginia’s online membership platform.
All climbing equipment is included; however, spots in the program are limited.
